An unforgettable experience at the Grand Park Hotel Rovinj, located along the Rovinj Marina. Its strategic position offers a spectacular view of the Old Town and the Church of St. Euphemia, which can be reached with a pleasant 15-minute walk. The hotel, part of the Maistra collection, also offers exclusive access to the Island of St. Catherine, where guests can relax on a private beach. This feature made the stay even more special, allowing me to enjoy the crystal-clear sea in a peaceful and secluded setting.

“A design that enhances the surrounding landscape”

One of the aspects I appreciated most during my stay was the hotel’s commitment to sustainability. I noticed how the Grand Park Rovinj is seamlessly integrated into the natural environment, thanks to a design that enhances the territory without negatively impacting the local ecosystem. The hotel also promotes sustainable practices within its restaurants by using zero-kilometer products and supporting local producers.

The use of smart technologies

This focus on eco-sustainability extends to the rooms as well, where smart technologies help optimize energy use; something I found particularly commendable. Guests can control various room features using designer mechanical switches by Adria Electronic, strategically placed near the entrance, bathroom, and bedside. These switches allow for custom lighting scenarios, such as day or night settings, to match the desired room atmosphere.

The rooms are also equipped with Smart TVs offering various features, including the ability to connect personal devices via Chromecast. Additionally, the TV provides general information about the hotel and available services, including tips for the responsible use of air conditioning.

For me, the Grand Park Hotel Rovinj strikes the perfect balance between luxury, design, and environmental responsibility. I especially appreciated the modern architecture and interiors by Piero Lissoni, which made me feel like I was aboard a luxury ship overlooking the Adriatic Sea. The large windows and bright spaces, offering breathtaking views of the sea and the city, made every moment of my stay even more captivating. I left the hotel with the feeling of having experienced something both exclusive and sustainable, in harmony with the natural beauty of Rovinj.
