Path to the Peak – Leadership in Unity
Our Journey of Transformation
Every three years, VDA Telkonet gathers its Executive team to define the strategies for the upcoming three-year period and renew its shared vision. The 2025 edition of Path to the Peak marked a key moment in this ongoing journey — an opportunity to reflect on achievements, challenges, and new directions to take.
The event was conceived and curated by the Group’s HR Team, led by Lucia Ziliotto, with the aim of fostering a collective reflection on leadership, group identity, and modes of collaboration in an increasingly global and interconnected context.
We wanted to create an experience that would help us rediscover the value of authentic dialogue and shared thinking.
A journey that could bring out our collective leadership and transform individual awareness into organizational strength.
The result was a true journey of transformation, where leadership became experience, dialogue, and collective construction.
OUR GOAL
The Name, the Logo, and the Meaning of the Journey
Before defining the program, the HR team worked to identify a name and a symbol capable of representing the direction of the path ahead.
This is how Path to the Peak was born — a title that evokes the summit to be reached together, the shared journey, and the energy needed to get there.
The logo, developed as a distinctive mark of the project, became a visual reminder of the values and intentions to live every day.
The “journey” was not just a metaphor but the actual way in which the entire group chose to face the future: every step, every choice, and every interaction became part of a collective path toward a more distributed and conscious form of leadership.
OUR STORY
Context and Urgency of Change
In recent years, the Group has undergone a period of profound growth and transformation. In this context, leadership evolution became a strategic priority — no longer concentrated in a single figure, but shared and capable of enhancing the diversity of experiences and skills within the team.
Path to the Peak was designed as a space to realign vision and strategy, strengthen cohesion, and build a shared pact oriented toward the future — a moment to reinforce mutual trust and renew the sense of belonging that defines VDA Telkonet’s culture.
PATH TO THE PEAK
The Journey: Tools and Metaphors
To make the journey tangible, the HR team introduced three symbolic tools: the passport, to recognize the starting point; the map, to navigate and identify milestones; and the journal, to collect personal reflections and insights.
Each participant carried a metaphorical backpack, representing the experiences and skills acquired over time.
Through this experiential approach, the group built a shared language — one that connects personal growth with organizational goals.

D-HUB: Packing the Backpack
The journey began at D-HUB in Pordenone with a day dedicated to reflection and sharing.
The goal: to look at the 2023–2025 three-year period, acknowledge the results achieved, analyze areas for improvement, and identify future priorities.
Through facilitation activities and visual tools, individual experiences were transformed into a collective narrative. Each participant chose a symbolic object to place in their “backpack,” representing what they carry with them on the climb toward the summit.
The Choice of Oasy Hotel: Disconnection and Regeneration
After the first day at D-HUB, the group moved to Oasy Hotel, in the heart of the WWF Natural Reserve of the Tuscan Apennines.
The choice of location was deliberate: the surrounding nature, silence, and beauty provided the ideal conditions to disconnect from the everyday and foster the regeneration of thought.
Oasy represented the symbolic threshold of the journey — the passage toward a more authentic and shared leadership. Every detail — from the stillness of the forest to the rhythm of nature — contributed to creating an atmosphere of listening, introspection, and collaboration.

Arrival at Oasy: Charting the Course
The second day focused on strategic vision. The CEO presented the overall scenario and macro guidelines for the upcoming three years, initiating the co-creation of the new Business Plan together with the team and the CFO.
The day reaffirmed the central role of collaboration as a driver of development: the path toward the summit is built on mutual listening, sharing, and the ability to integrate different perspectives into a single vision.

The Forest and the Thalea Method: Connection and Awareness
The third day represented the experiential heart of the journey.
Guided by Andrea Bariselli, creator of Rewild your Mind and the Thalea Method, the team experienced an immersive nature-based activity structured in six phases: Stimulation, Acceptance, Regeneration, Intuition, Recharge, and Transformation.
The activity encouraged deep connection with the environment and with oneself, generating a sense of mutual trust and collective awareness.
The experience in the forest became a powerful symbol of change — the threshold between what the group was and what it was becoming.

Archetypes and the Leadership Pact: The Shared Compass
The final day was dedicated to synthesizing the journey.
Inspired by The Filament Project by Andrea Bariselli, the HR team introduced archetypes as a framework to recognize individual talents, resources, and values.
Through group work and open discussion, the Executives defined their Common Manifesto and built the Leadership in Unity Pact — a symbolic compass meant to guide future relationships, decisions, and the organizational culture.
A Journey That Continues
Path to the Peak was far more than a managerial retreat: it was a journey of awareness and collective creation.
Its true value lies not only in tangible results, but in the connections built, the trust strengthened, and the shared vision that now guides VDA Telkonet’s Executive team.
A journey that continues every day — in the way each person interprets their own leadership, turning individual growth into collective strength.
