With the view of sustainable development, the Delparco Hotel has installed a system of solar panels aimed at producing electricity and hot water for the entire facility. In addition, with the goal of educating its guests to stay responsibly, the Hotel has adopted a plastic-free philosophy for its courtesy line, offering products made of organic and recyclable materials.
But the focus on sustainability continues. Delparco Hotel has installed VDA smart automation technology in all rooms, promoting consumption reduction and resource optimization. Thanks to Micromaster, the Guest Room Management System, the motion sensor detects when a guest enters their room and automatically activates GRMS features, adjusting the lighting and air conditioning system to ensure optimal temperature. When the guest leaves their room, the system turns off the lights and adjusts the temperature to decrease consumption responsibly.
At the time of booking, the guest is prompted to download the EnterPlease app, available for IOS and Android devices, to have the ability to check in directly via their smartphone. Once the guest arrives at the room door, they simply bring their device close to the out-of-door reader, which activates via BLE (Bluetooth Low Energy) technology and manages access to the room.
The out-of-door reader has been customized with the Hotel logo, room number, and icons that directly communicate room status and any guest requests to the Hotel staff.
Inside the room, the guest manages room features (lights, climate, and curtains) through the thermostat and smart switches from the Vitrum collection, an icon of high Italian design in LED-backlit glass. These switches are also positioned on the sides of the headboard to ensure maximum convenience.
Integration of the VDA system with voice control allows the guest to adjust all GRMS features in the room without having to interrupt their activities.
Delparco Hotel has chosen PowerTV ONAIR, the in-room entertainment solution based on cloud technology, which allows the hotelier to share their promotional content (sightseeing, tours, restaurants, spas, etc.) through the TV in real time.
In addition, thanks to language selection, it is possible to view only the channels of real interest to the guest, who also has the option to choose from a wide range of extra features (music, weather, Internet, alarm clock, radio). A range of additional services such as booking room service and ordering snacks/drinks can also be accessed by selecting them directly on the TV display.
With the ‘Express Check-out’ function available on the smart TV, the guest can pay the facility directly without the need to go through the front desk.
PowerTV ONAIR service allows guests to interact with the front desk directly from the in-room TV, maximizing the benefit to the guest and facilitating the work of Hotel staff.
